So if I send out a wave message to the class about my thoughts on the book, do I still have to blog…?
All I can think about is- how can I volunteer for these experiments?!!? I know that somewhere, someone is still gathering this information. I’ve been trying to send some messages myself, but haven’t had much luck….at least not that I know of…
It seems like the class discussion we had earlier was right on point. (pg 134, last paragraph; the noise of communication keeps us from hearing deeper levels of communication.) The dream chapter talks about the Amazon tribes and says that they believe that, “ The dream is what is real. It is their waking life that is the falsehood.” (I love this statement & wish that I could align my life in this way.) Are they able to read thru the noise, maybe because they don’t have as much noise around them? Are they able to be at the root of their consciousness and not separate it? Do they interpret the dream state as a more natural state of being, one that is not being bombarded with outside influences? It seems like our culture still thinks that by knowing something, you are something, maybe it is in the acceptance of not knowing, that makes a wiser person. Is this idea of enlightenment or spiritual awakening really just being in line with ZPF? Do we put disguises on things so that we are more comfortable with relating to them?...cuz lets face it… some of this stuff is out there…..
A few concepts, like the idea of passing on good intent and bad intent,(chapter 7). The idea that humans are able to change events from thinking about the initial event, or time displaced human intention, ( chptr 9 )…made me think about the power of prayer and meditation. Do these concepts lend more power to prayer and meditation or do they discredit it and allow humans to play God? Is this where the mind over matter idea come from?
I guess my question of déjà-vu was answered…how cool!! So if things don’t really go back ward or forward in time, there really is no time, just some numbers that we have decided we need to control our world. I’ve always thought it would cool (and cruel) to have a kid and tell them things in the world are actually different things and see how long it takes for the rest of the world to catch on. Like who decided to make up our language anyway? If I told my kid that a tree was moopa then overtime…it would just be a moopa….right…? Ok so probably not, he would be made fun of and someone would tell him that it was a tree, but why!!!!??
I wonder why when we hear about these time displacement concepts and telepathy incidents, why we hear about them form some silly tabloid kind of media or some bizarre-o TV show that almost makes light of the facts. Most media outlets are not giving us the real facts…(imagine that, HA!) They tell us about the possibility of these “crazy things” happening, but they don’t give us all the details. What are they trying to hide…?
