Blog 1

What I realized from the reading was that Ed felt apart from the others on board the Apollo 14 mission. His reasoning allowed him to think critically about his experience leading him to gain an incentive yet insightful experience while on the same mission as his fellow coworkers. It made him reason with himself and come to a conclusion about our perception and the way we reason with ourselves. The thoughts that make us think outside the box even if it is once in a while. Many thoughts like Ed’s have led to great discoveries. He felt that human could connect with one another and that set him apart in his thinking. I suppose that his feeling made him conscious about god and the extrasensory perception that we all have but never dig deep within to find. I realize that some form of communication can defy logic and reasoning. This makes me remember that we all feel our consciousness and think to ourselves about the purpose of our life and why is everything the way it is. I always thought that this is the way things are. In chapter 2, Hal felt very similar with Ed in the way that he felt everything was in some sort of connection and balance within the universe. I thought that was very interesting since Ed in chapter 1, felt that human connected with each other as well. I also wonder how the universe is so stable and in harmony with everything around and the reason for stability is the exchange of energy. If we all connect to The Field, we might extract information from it. For this to take place, our minds and bodies must operate according to the laws of quantum world. By the end of chapter 3, I began to feel that biology and life all around us was driven by the quantum process. Popp also agreed with Hal and Ed, when conducting his biological experiment. This week’s reading really got me excited in what to come, since the author wrote it in a very intuitive manor yet what remains unclear is how she made it so informative by relating different fields of experimentation yet making them all connect with quantum theory.
