Well so far this book has lived up to my expectations after reading the first three chapters. From water that has memories to theories of a zero point field I have not been dissapointed so far. From the chapters seven to nine though I found my interest mainly with chapter seven. The idea of transmitting thoughts into other people and things really sparked my interest. Imagine being able to power wheelchairs with nothing but thought, as well as other vehicles and equipment. Although how this will work without having negative thoughts is beyond me. Imagine being on a wheelchair near a cliff then having the thought of going over even briefly. What would happen? Most likely youd go over and that would be problematic. The science for this may still be in its infancy but everyday strides are made and in some cases they are made unintentionally.

I remember reading an article once in the New York Times Science edition about a pair of twins in Oregon had extraordinary abilities in terms of telepathy. The experiment conducted in the book of how pain and emotions were transferred to another individual sparked my memory. The twins were put into two different rooms each were given random materials like a vase of flowers, baloons, pen and paper, pictures, and matches. One of the twins picked up the vase of flowers and started fondling it admiring its colors smelling them and etc... The other twin picked up the pen and paper and started drawing. She drew an exact copy of the vase including colors, it wasnt a work of art but the detail she drew it in could only be done if the vase of flowers were physically present.

Just one of many things in our world that remains a mystery...
